2025 felt stagnant as I tried so hard to move forward in my personal goals but continued like a hamster on a wheel, until I look back and see the beautiful life I lived each day. I’ve had many years of hardship, causing rest and blessing to feel like something bad is about to happen to me. Last year was a year of dwelling on the goodness of God and enjoying the seasons of life in front of me. I have no “word” for 2026 but I look forward to living it one day at a time.
If you’re rebuilding your own site or brand, this is the part most people skip, and it’s why everything else from website design to a simple post on social media feels so heavy.
I am rebuilding my website and very first thing I’m working on is getting crystal clear on who I’m here to serve, what they care about, and what they’re actually looking for when they find me.
When you know who you serve, what they value, and how you actually help them, so many things get easier:
What to offer.
What to write.
What to show.
What to say online.
The confusion fades because you’re no longer trying to speak to everyone you’re speaking to your dream client and you’ve identified exactly what they’re like. It feels like writing to a friend.
The most magical part of it all?
They feel like you *get* them when they come across your content. That feeling translates to trust which translates into a beautiful business relationship.
This is how I built my business the first time.
It’s how I’m rebuilding it now, more intentionally.

It’s been a MINUTE since I’ve done an engagement shoot and this was a glorious one! Did you see those cliffs? The rain came in mid session and we had a blast.
