Temecula Creek Inn at The Meadows – Fayth + Andrew

Fayth and Andrew just got married over the weekend, and it was such a beautiful day at Temecula Creek Inn‘s The Meadows site! Their love was one that was built on friendship, and it made for such a fun time following them around as they laughed and were able to truly be themselves together. Their friends and family were overjoyed to see them take this step, and their parents filled with tears of pride for of all of their accomplishments in life thus far, from Fayth completing her teaching credentials to Andrew starting med school. Fayth and Andrew are making impacts on peoples’ lives already as individuals and now will continue to do so as one.

I have Kelsey of Kelsey Rae Designs to thank for introducing me to this sweet couple, and I’m excited to share that she is guest blogging here today! Just keep on scrolling to read on about the whole planning process behind Fayth and Andrew’s wedding, from the perspective of their very own wedding planner, one of the very best in our valley I might add!

“Planning with Fayth was a dream! Sometimes I get lucky, like really really lucky, when all the stars align, a super sweet bride chooses me + then goes a step further choosing all my favorite vendors for her wedding day. That, is pure bliss.

Fayth asked me to come along and help create a vision + execute every part of her wedding day. We chatted and I got to know her a little better, finding out what is important to her and her handsome fiance, Andrew, and crafting ways to make her day come to life, just as she had always envisioned it. I browsed through Pinterest links and helped pull together a mood board that would really set the tone for the day, collectively bringing Fayth’s ideas + some of my design ideas together. I used the mood board throughout the planning process to convey the colors + overall feel to all the other vendors involved. It’s by far one of my favorite tools to quickly look at and paint a picture for the vibe we are going for!”

“We agreed that florals and photography were going to be two main factors we did not want to hold back on. I instantly knew that Jenna would be a perfect match for Fayth. They both have calm, cool + genuinely sweet personalities and Fayth was going for that beautiful light + airy look in her photos, Jenna’s specialty! I knew she’d be in good hands!

I can’t stress enough the importance of hiring vendors who have their “stuff” together. Jenna always provides me with a flawless photo timeline to implement into my overall timeline (thank you, thank you!). She worked in my Aisle Planner tool (an insanely invaluable online planning portal I give all my brides access too!) to create a shot list for family photos after the ceremony, again making things go so dang smooth. Jenna helped give ideas + suggestions on what to wear for their engagement photos and helped pick the perfect location, Big Bear. I knew, I just didn’t have to worry about a thing with Jenna there capturing their milestone moments.”

Next was florals, and boy was I excited when I heard that flowers were of high importance to Fayth. In my opinion, flowers can make or break a wedding and it’s definitely not an area I suggest skimping on. We wanted to transform The Meadows at Temecula Creek Inn and bring in pinks, ivory’s and lots of greenery. I quickly realized that the perfect person for the job was Carla Kayes of Carla Kayes Floral Design. She just gets it. She got it when she met with Fayth and she got it when we chatted throughout the process to make sure nothing was missed. Every little detail down to a sprig of greenery on the napkin, was discussed + worked through with Carla. I know she never disappoints.

“We then started tackling the other vendors. We brought Chiavari Guys on board to bring in beautiful gold chargers and gold flatware. We wanted a solid DJ, an amazing tasting cake, a beauty artistry team that would make the girls look like rockstars and a videographer who would go above and beyond. We compiled the most amazing vendor team comprised of Pro Sound DJ, Beauty & The Beach, Cakes to Celebrate and our friends over at Le Reve Films. Pure magic.”

To say the planning was a dream, is an understatement. Thank you Fayth for trusting me on your biggest day + for listening to my vendor recommendations. I sure do adore you!

And thank you Jenna for always taking such good care of my brides!
