My One New Years Resolution

Strive for greatness, not perfection.

I may be talking to myself, but I know some of you can relate when I say we can be too hard on ourselves. Yes, it’s good to be self-critical. Criticism can sprout humble growth and positive changes. But I think I’ve been learning through a bit more self-criticism than ever this year; after we are introspective enough to see our own faults, it’s good to step back and forgive ourself, let it go, and move forward.

So this year, I have one new years resolution. To strive for greatness, and not perfection. To not only be more forgiving to myself, but be less critical and more forgiving. I encourage you to give yourself a little grace too.
